Summary
The HR Business Partner is responsible for driving short-term HR objectives for INB and SPM assets in Portsmouth. Acts as the key HR lead for asset leadership teams focusing on talent acquisition employee relations talent development and organizational management. Ensures effective implementation of HR policies processes and programs. Provides coaching and counseling to leaders and supports the full employee lifecycle to build an engaged workforce.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the HR agenda for assigned assets/functions and partner closely with the Asset Leadership team.
  • Provide HR business partner support to departments and managers across areas such as talent acquisition performance management employee relations policy recommendations and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with line managers to identify staffing needs and partner with the talent acquisition team to ensure optimal resourcing.
  • Deliver coaching and guidance to managers and supervisors on performance management disciplinary actions and related matters.
  • Handle employee relations issues and conduct investigations where required.
  • Support implementation and execution of HR policies initiatives and programs.
  • Provide end-to-end support across the employee lifecycle.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience working with asset-based or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in driving employee engagement initiatives.
  • Strong experience in HR Business Partnering.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition and workforce planning.
  • Solid knowledge of performance management processes.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to provide HR insights and recommendations.
  • High level of adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience in employee relations and investigations.
  • Ability to coach and influence managers and leadership teams.
  • Understanding of HR policies practices and compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and change management capabilities.
