Job Summary
Shifts will generally be 5 (8s) but would like the flexibility to work 12-hour shifts occasionally if the direction of the Administrative Director Inpatient Care and within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures functions as the coordinator of patient care and representative of Nursing Administration for a designated shift. Coordinates Hospital services in collaboration with the Administrator-on-Call. Utilizes knowledge of patient s age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient strongly preferred; in the absence of a bachelor s degree an associate s degree coupled with a minimum of three to five years experience working as a Staff RN with leadership abilities demonstrated by working successfully as a Charge RN or in another leadership capacity license to practice nursing in Massachusetts or eligibility for Massachusetts licensure required. Application for Massachusetts licensure must be made upon offer of CPR certification required. CPI certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer into certification required within six months of hire or transfer into position. Demonstrated excellent clinical leadership organizational and oral and written communication skills required.
