About this Position:
Job Title: Information Systems Architect
Major Responsibilities:
-
Design deploy and administer AWS environments following best practices.
-
Support AWS account structure IAM roles policies and least-privilege access.
-
Develop and maintain solutions using AWS services including (but not limited to): Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling and Elastic Load Balancing.
-
Amazon VPC subnets routing and security controls.
-
Amazon S3 EBS EFS and data lifecycle policies.
-
AWS Lambda API Gateway and serverless architectures.
-
Amazon CloudWatch CloudTrail and AWS Config.
-
Develop and support Amazon Connect contact center environments including: Contact flows queues routing profiles and prompts.
-
Integrations with AWS Lambda APIs and external systems.
-
Call recording analytics and troubleshooting.
-
Design and integrate AI-enabled solutions using Amazon Bedrock where applicable.
-
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation Terraform or equivalent tools.
-
Monitor system performance availability and cost optimization opportunities.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
-
Support CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
-
Collaborate with security teams to implement encryption logging monitoring and compliance controls.
-
Maintain documentation runbooks and architectural diagrams.
-
Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to team members.
-
Participate in scheduled maintenance upgrades and after-hours support as required.
Required Skills:
- 6 years of overall IT experience supporting enterprise systems.
-
3 years of hands-on AWS experience in development and/or administration.
-
3 years of experience with AWS core services (EC2 VPC IAM S3 and Lambda).
-
3 years of experience with Amazon Connect and/or contact center technologies.
-
3 years of experience integrating APIs serverless functions and cloud-native services.
-
3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation.
-
3 years of experience with security best practices logging and monitoring in AWS.
-
3 years of scripting experience (Python Bash or equivalent).
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with AI/ML integrations and prompt engineering.
-
Experience with hybrid cloud or third-party integrations.
-
Cost optimization and FinOps experience.
-
Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Hybrid Cloud Architectures.
