About this Position:

Job Title: Information Systems Architect

Major Responsibilities:

  • Design deploy and administer AWS environments following best practices.

  • Support AWS account structure IAM roles policies and least-privilege access.

  • Develop and maintain solutions using AWS services including (but not limited to): Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling and Elastic Load Balancing.

  • Amazon VPC subnets routing and security controls.

  • Amazon S3 EBS EFS and data lifecycle policies.

  • AWS Lambda API Gateway and serverless architectures.

  • Amazon CloudWatch CloudTrail and AWS Config.

  • Develop and support Amazon Connect contact center environments including: Contact flows queues routing profiles and prompts.

  • Integrations with AWS Lambda APIs and external systems.

  • Call recording analytics and troubleshooting.

  • Design and integrate AI-enabled solutions using Amazon Bedrock where applicable.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation Terraform or equivalent tools.

  • Monitor system performance availability and cost optimization opportunities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.

  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.

  • Collaborate with security teams to implement encryption logging monitoring and compliance controls.

  • Maintain documentation runbooks and architectural diagrams.

  • Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to team members.

  • Participate in scheduled maintenance upgrades and after-hours support as required.

Required Skills:

  • 6 years of overall IT experience supporting enterprise systems.
  • 3 years of hands-on AWS experience in development and/or administration.

  • 3 years of experience with AWS core services (EC2 VPC IAM S3 and Lambda).

  • 3 years of experience with Amazon Connect and/or contact center technologies.

  • 3 years of experience integrating APIs serverless functions and cloud-native services.

  • 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation.

  • 3 years of experience with security best practices logging and monitoring in AWS.

  • 3 years of scripting experience (Python Bash or equivalent).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AI/ML integrations and prompt engineering.

  • Experience with hybrid cloud or third-party integrations.

  • Cost optimization and FinOps experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Hybrid Cloud Architectures.

Education and Certifications

  • Required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional OR AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.

  • Preferred: Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305).
