Job summary
The student recruited will work with Network members in order to support communication of the projects activities through the preparation of regular newsletters drafting engaging content for our LinkedIn page and assisting with the development and dissemination of key messages across various channels.
Main duties
Gathering updates from the project team
Presenting information in a clear and accessible format
Maintain a consistent and professional communication style
Contribute to planning communication activities
Updating web content
Supporting outreach to partners and stakeholders as needed
You will follow a schedule of work but will be able to organise your own activities within the schedule.
Treat everyone with dignity and respect support equality and value diversity any other duties as may be reasonably required within the grade of role.
Required knowledge skills qualifications & experience
Relevant work experience evidencing the skills and ability to undertake the role
Proficient in Microsoft packages
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
Excellent team working and communication skills both written and verbal is essential
A customer focussed approach
An ability to organise your own activities within a schedule
Demonstrates the ability to understand and incorporate diversity considerations relevant to the role (e.g. dietary needs cultural dress requirements).

You will follow a schedule set by your supervisor but will be able to organise activities within the schedule.

The University of Birmingham restricts all students to working up to 20 hours per week during term time for a maximum of 13 consecutive weeks.
