2 General Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to oversee and grow our portfolio of key customers in Dometic Road & CBT in Road sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with high-value customers understanding their complex Road needs and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service that drives customer retention and revenue growth as well as GP% target achieved. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities.

3 Specific Accountabilities

  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of key accounts serving as the primary point of contact for all client-related matters including inquiries service issues and strategic discussions.
  • Develop and implement account management plans tailored to each key clients business objectives ensuring alignment with the companys service capabilities and growth goals.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional freight forwarding services (e.g. sea freight air freight road transport cross boarder truck warehousing) to existing key clients driving revenue growth and account expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (OKAM/CKAM internal BDs Operations finance) to ensure seamless delivery of services resolve any client issues promptly and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and business reviews to assess service performance gather client feedback and identify areas for improvement or new business opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends competitor activities and industry developments relevant to key clients businesses providing insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts service level agreements (SLAs) and pricing with key clients ensuring terms are favorable to both the client and the company.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets revenue goals and client retention metrics for the key account portfolio.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records sales activities and account plans in the companys sales system.

4 Skills Required

  • Bachelors degree International Trade Logistics or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in key account management sales or client relationship management within the international freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Deep understanding of international freight forwarding operations including sea air and road transport and supply chain logistics.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value key accounts driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong trust-based relationships with key clients and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify client needs assess complex logistics challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Proactive self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using sales systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.

5 Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in cross-border transportation will be considered a plus
  • Good understanding of China logistics industry trends with specific emphasis on transportation concepts
