Job Summary

Purpose of the role

The job holder will promote and sell the full range of ASSA ABLOY Digital and Access Solution products and MUL-T-LOCK and Abloy products focused on the projects business with consultants current mechanical Master system in the market to be upgraded to e-Cliq cylinders and driving sales through all ASSA ABLOY client verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities for electronic locking solution .
  • Build market position by locating developing defining and closing business relationships.
  • Create develop and close new business opportunities with MUL-T-LOCK and Abloy and DAS Products in the OEM and PEU market and Government
  • Ensure that your sales targets are met or exceeded
  • Proven track from DAS products technical and installation and support on technical sales
  • Build portfolio of clients both existing and new including consultants and end user segments specified by product type
  • Maintain accurate customer and proposal records
  • Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and demonstrations showing the capabilities of the product range
  • Support of client on DAS access control solutions on old and new installations and after hour support where required
  • Contract negotiation and management of customer expectations with mechanical master systems and transform it to electronical access solutions
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure that return business is generated
  • Provide the most appropriate solution to satisfy your clients requirements
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and activity information to the DAS Sales Specialist on a planned and agreed basis
  • Achieving budgeted (as a minimum) product revenue and margin monthly & yearly.
  • Achieving targeted product market share.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Present sales pipeline and target reports to business stakeholders
  • Become and remain fully skilled in all existing and new technologies offered by the ASSA ABLOY group

Professional Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Solution Sales training & experience
  • Training in various access control solutions
  • Fluency in oral and written English

Desirable

  • Sales and knowledge on the YALE ABLOY MUL-T-LOCK e-CLIQ access products and mechanical master keying products available from ASSA ABLOY

Experience

Essential

  • 4 years solid access control industry experience with a proven record of accomplishment in selling access control projects and solutions in South Africa.
  • You will be commercially aware and have an excellent understanding of industry trends and customer demands.
  • Strong technical knowledge in a solutions environment is required.
  • Ability to develop technical specifications for new projects

Preferred:

  • Experience in development of digital and access products or solutions and services sales
