As part of our Business Winning team youll play a central role in developing the safety case solutions that help us secure the major cleanenergy nucleardefence and decommissioning programmes that support the UKs longterm resilience. Youll shape innovative approaches influence highvalue bids and guide technical excellence from the earliest stages of project development.

The Role

As a Senior Safety Case Engineer within our Business Winning youll bring your deep safety case knowledge to the early phases of project development.

This is a fulltime role based at one of our main sites: Warrington (Cheshire) Preston (Lancashire) Leicester (Leicestershire) Newbury (Berkshire) or Bristol with travel to other Cavendish Nuclear and customer locations as required. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

Daytoday youll be required to:

Lead safetycase contributions to major bids.
Develop safety case scopes schedules and verification plans.
Produce and review safety case documentation and technical reports.
Support hazard identification and risk assessment processes.
Promote collaboration and continuous improvement.

Essential experience for theSenior Safety Case Engineer:

Proven experiencewithin a highly regulated environment.
Experience contributing to safety case documentation.
Understanding of ALARP principles and ONR Safety Assessment Principles.
Ability to prepare technical analyses and safety submissions.
Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Qualifications of the Senior Safety Case Engineer:

Bachelors degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
