Job Description
As a Security Officer - Night Driving Role in Wichita KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location you will conduct routine patrols and vehicle rounds remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations assist with access and perimeter checks and partner with site teams to support daily operations. This is a driving post and requires a valid drivers license.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings hangars parking areas and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity unsecured doors and/or potential hazards; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying credentials issuing temporary visitor authorization per site policy and directing traffic to approved areas.
- Complete routine reports such as shift activity logs incident reports and maintenance concern notifications and communicate key updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
