Weekend Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours worked paid for 40)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate high-precision machining centers that manufacture critical medical device components. This role involves running multiple machines simultaneously in a regulated production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail the ability to inspect parts to tight tolerances and a commitment to meeting daily production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Operate multiple CNC machines concurrently to meet high-volume production goals.

Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and uptime.

Inspect finished components to extremely tight tolerances using precision measuring instruments.

Follow established CNC programs setup sheets and work instructions to ensure consistency.

Accurately document inspection results and production data to maintain compliance with regulated manufacturing standards.

Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.

Identify and report machine malfunctions tool wear or quality concerns to maintenance and engineering teams.

Assist with machine setups and changeovers to reduce downtime.

Verify raw materials meet required specifications prior to machining.

Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

Collaborate with senior machinists to troubleshoot complex geometries or program issues.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and minimize scrap.
Required Qualifications

1-3 years of CNC machining experience in a production manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering blueprints and technical drawings.

Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to manage multiple machines efficiently.

Experience inspecting parts to tight tolerances with high accuracy.

Experience operating Mazak lathes or vertical/horizontal machining centers.
