The Role
Working closely with the Service Manager you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Service Department leading the front of house team of 5 Service Advisors and 4 support administrators including Warranty ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Customer Service teams supporting workshop performance and driving high levels of customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
Oversea and manage the front of house team to ensure high quality customer service and ensuring maximum efficiency. Handle customer inquiries and complaints ensuring all customers receive a professional prompt and courteous service.
Monitor and improve service processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with company policies and automotive industry regulations maintaining accurate records.
Provide training and support to service staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses to ensure profitability.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer experience.
Support the Workshop Controller in the coordination of a workshop team of 12 Vehicle Technicians to ensure smooth daily operations.
Conduct performance reviews reporting and supporting department improvements through KPI and target-led objectives.
Manage and support the warranty team ensuring claims are submitted accurately and on time.
Producing detailed reports for the Aftersales Manager on both individual and department performance.
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
A proactive customer-focused mindset with strong customer service standards.
Excellent communication organisational and leadership skills.
Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office and automotive service management software.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Valid UK drivers license is essential.

The Bolton Kia dealership spans across two separate buildings both based on Middlebrook Retail Park with free parking located off Junction 6 of the M61. The nearest train station is Horwich Parkway.
