Job Summary
Migration Specialist:
What youll do on the job:
- Coordination of all migration activities with Project Teams.
- Due Diligence Migration planning activities.
- Optimizing Speed Cost of migrations and Partner with Operations to set up a sustainable steady-state process.
- Execute sample migrations to define content standards and migration expectations.
- Develop custom crawler or script-based content extraction and retrieval activities.
- Validate content mapping bulk imports and media asset transfers into the platform.
- Lead formatting and normalization efforts to align all content with platform styling and usability standards.
- Manage article-level redirects to preserve link integrity and SEO value.
Wholl be a good fit:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer science or Information Technology
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML5 CSS JavaScript and jQuery is preferred.
- Exposure to any programming or scripting language is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with content extraction crawling tools APIs or automation scripts.
- Solid understanding of HTML content structuring and formatting normalization.
- Experience managing bulk imports media asset handling and URL redirections.
- Familiarity with QA processes for content-heavy platforms.
- Knowledge in writing scripts
- Knowledge in customer support and good problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication
