- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of sales expenses and profitability across product categories regions and retail channels.
- Develop and maintain monthly quarterly and annual financial forecasts and budgets aligning with business objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as gross margin inventory turnover and contribution margin; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with merchandising supply chain and marketing teams to assess financial impact of product launches promotions and pricing strategies.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management highlighting trends risks and opportunities.
- Support the annual planning and budgeting cycle including scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
- Analyze seasonality and market trends to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory planning.
- Implement and maintain financial models and dashboards using advanced Excel and BI tools for real-time insights.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field; CA CFA or MBA in Finance is a plus.
- 25 years of experience in financial analysis within the fashion retail or consumer goods industry.
- Proven experience in budgeting forecasting and financial modeling with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables macros) PowerPoint and financial reporting tools.
- Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI Tableau or similar is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs inventory management and margin analysis in fast-moving consumer environments.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
