We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Engineering Manager with a strong background in AI/ML technologies and deep understanding of the industrial domain. This role will lead a cross-functional engineering team focused on building intelligent scalable and reliable solutions for industrial applications such as predictive maintenance process optimization and smart automation.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead mentor and grow a team of software engineers and data scientists.
Foster a culture of innovation ownership and continuous improvement.
Drive agile development practices and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
AI/ML Strategy & Execution
Architect and oversee the development of AI/ML models tailored to industrial use cases.
Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
Ensure robust model deployment and lifecycle management including MLOps best practices.
Industrial Systems Integration
Design and implement software that interfaces with industrial systems (e.g. SCADA PLCs MES).
Address real-world constraints such as latency reliability and safety in industrial environments.
Work closely with hardware and field engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with UX QA and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related field.
8 years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong programming skills in Python Java or C and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch).
Proven experience in deploying AI models in production preferably in edge or embedded environments.
Solid understanding of industrial protocols (e.g. Modbus OPC UA) and control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD or advanced degree in AI/ML or Industrial Engineering.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS) and MLOps tools.
Familiarity with safety standards and compliance in industrial settings.
Experience in manufacturing energy automotive or similar sectors.
