Job Summary

  • As a Housekeeping Attendant you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the club according to established standards.

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping mopping dusting and polishing to ensure a clean and presentable environment for our members and visitors.

  • Ensure that all allocated areas are cleaned according to established standards.

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities documenting any deficiencies or needs for repairs and promptly notifying management.

  • Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned ensuring that they are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Organize and maintain supply rooms ensuring that cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and readily available when needed.

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations including the proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste materials.

  • Assist members and visitors with any inquiries or requests in a polite and professional manner providing excellent customer service.

  • Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the club.

  • Perform any other related duties as required by the management team.


Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred.
  • Basic maintenance and handyperson skills (plumbing electrical carpentry) a plus.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures chemicals and proper storage/disposal methods.
  • Ability to follow instructions procedures and health & safety protocols.
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills including basic English.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
