Ecolab is seeking a Training Specialist to help build and support a leading-edge learning program. This role will design and develop effective training programs aids and materials to facilitate training for our Global Business Services (GBS) associates locally and globally. You will utilize knowledge of adult learning research and best practice to deliver the best functional process training new hire training systems or technology training and global community building. You will explore and apply digital learning tools and techniques to enhance engagement and efficiency while ensuring compliance with enterprise Learning & Development quality standards. You will also act as the liaison between the local GBS operations teams and the Training and Knowledge Management team working with the operations teams to reinforce training process and ensure consistency update training documentation and knowledge transfer plans and deliver GBS Onboarding training sessions.
How youll make an impact:
Training Design and Development
Develop and conduct training programs in response to local teams needs. Analyze employee training needs and develop appropriate new programs and materials
Collaborate globally to design build and deliver top quality learning materials and tools
Facilitate effective information gathering sessions and instructional design reviews with business function and GBS subject matter experts (SMEs) to effectively capture institutional knowledge
Design effective blended training solutions which are job-based learner-centered organized accurate practical and sustainable
Consistently meet project plan deliverables timeline and budget. Report progress and escalating risk
Be open to feedback listen actively and ensure SMEs inputs are applied for best training outcomes
Deliver training materials including but not limited to curriculum high level design documents (HDDs) process overviews with instructor playbooks eLearning desk top procedures exercise workbooks knowledge transfer or practice exercises knowledge checks and other appropriate learning assessments
Training Delivery
Develop and facilitate robust Train the Trainer program to activate local trainers for GBS training delivery
Assist GBS Site leaders in meeting all site training needs including providing training status reporting to leaders
Facilitate classroom remote and train-the-trainer programs
Track training material feedback post-delivery and apply recommendations as appropriate
Training approach plan and quality
Promote GBS learning strategy and approach
Ensure existing training materials and best practices are incorporated into GBS training locally
Ensure Ecolab brand standards and quality requirements are met in all training materials digital and printed
Provide accurate and timely updates to Training and Knowledge Management leadership
Ensure consistent application of One Company/ GBS training tools and methodologies
Collaboration
Maintain regular connections with other GBS Training Specialists to ensure consistent quality globally
Collaborate with Knowledge Management Team to ensure consistency and accuracy for all learning assets in the GBS Knowledge Repository and across all knowledge management platforms
Work closely with Change Specialists Communications Managers and Talent/Recruiting team to ensure understanding of benefits impacts appropriate messaging associate profiles and learning requirements as well as work plans dependencies and deliverable due dates
Collaborate with the local HR Business Partner to help drive career development training
Work with local directors managers and other subject matter experts as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
6-8 years experience in Instructional Design training delivery and/or education
Experienceworking with adult learning principles methodologies and tools
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate collaboration
Proven experience delivering high quality work on time
Ability to interpret develop and present information to multiple audiences
Skilled listener who can gauge reactions and guide conversations to uncover learner needs
Proficient with MS Office suite especially PowerPoint MS Forms Microsoft Teams Excel.
Familiarity with Workday Learning & Articulate 360
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree
Experience with the implementation of training programs to support large complex projects (e.g. ERP Systems business transformation business process reengineering shared services outsourcing solutions etc.)
Experience in any of the following functions: finance supply chain customer service master data management HR IT legal marketing
Familiarity with SAP and ServiceNow vernacular
Knowledge of technical content integration standards such as SCORM
ServiceNow experience
Camtasia experience
