What Youll Do
- Use Microsoft (MS) Office United States (US) Government and Pantex databases
- Assist teammates and customers and protects sensitive or personal privacy information from unauthorized disclosure
- Support all types of customers including US Government contractor and sub tier vendor personnel with Personal Identity Verification (PIV) processes and general or specific assistance as authorized by Personnel Security management
- Operate access control and identity verification equipment such as cameras badging machines printers and fingerprint scanners
- Support clearance badge and access activities as directed by supervision
- Work safely and securely in an environment with constant interruption or redirection
- Display a high standard of attention to detail and focus on procedural requirements
- Gather data from multiple sources to grant or deny access based on a review of information and documents
- Assist with sustainment or development of Personnel Security processes
- Manage time and tasks without constant direct supervision. Provides highest levels of customer service in a very busy public environment. Interacts with all levels of site populations and visitors daily
- Responsible for maintaining a thorough knowledge of applicable Federal State Department of Energy (DOE) Corporate and Plant rules regulations and Plant-wide operating policies and procedures
- Recommend prepare and maintain operating procedures systems policies and controls pertaining to the assigned area of responsibility
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Required to attend and/or successfully complete training classes as determined by the Training and Development Technologies Department through General Employee Training (Reference DOE Order 426.2) and Management
- Participate in worker involvement including input to work planning and methods to identify hazards and controls
- Understands a workers right to stop work when they feel their own or others personal safety is jeopardized
- Attends all required safety meetings and training
- Offers suggestions on improvements to the work environment

Minimum Job Requirements
- High school diploma: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Associate degree in related discipline: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- Typical relevant experience ranging from 10 years or more.

- Demonstrated skill presenting information clearly and effectively through the oral and written word
- Proficiency with word processing spreadsheet and database applications.

- Must be able to read write and comprehend applicable written and/or oral instructions.
- Must be physically fit to perform the above job functions as determined by Medical Evaluation.
