Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Team in Hialeah FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to calls for service with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and an armed post requiring an armed guard card or license. You will succeed through teamwork agility reliability innovation and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or contractors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access control points and verify identification and/or authorization help to deter unauthorized entry and direct individuals to the appropriate locations or contacts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications requesting law enforcement and/or medical assistance and supporting site incident response protocols.
- Complete detailed incident reports patrol logs and/or daily activity documentation and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
- Have 1 Years Law Enforcement Experience OR 2 Years Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3 Years Security Experience.
- Have an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Have a College Degree.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be 21 Years of Age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have a Corrections Officer License.
- Have a DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR Associates Degree/60 College Credits OR Police Academy Certificate OR Corrections Academy Certificate.
- Have a Law Enforcement Officer License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
