Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Roving Driver in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support associates and shoppers with strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors and associates by following Allied Universal security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor entrances loading and receiving areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior potential theft indicators and/or policy violations and document observations and actions according to post orders.
- Complete shift reports and incident documentation communicate with management and local authorities as required and support closing and opening routines when assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
