JOB SUMMARY
Sustain and improve manufacturing processes within the designated area of responsibility. Overall equipment and process step superintendence. Constitute and provide expertise supporting production efficiency and product quality. Drive new process development and improvement activities.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the processes in the wet chemistry area
- Provide sufficiently good processes for all production and development needs
- E.g. support all wafer production needs
- Provide instructions and routines for daily operation
- Train and teach technicians on new tools and new procedures
- E.g. write clear and easy to follow instructions for the production personnel
- Supervise the processes and work proactively
- Be present daily in the production area to supervise the production work
- E.g. try to identify upcoming issues ahead of time by process control or regular observations
- Establish SPC where applicable and make it usable for production
- Drive process qualifications
- Find ways to assure capability and quality of new processes by in-line observations and analysis
- E.g. set-up test plans and evaluations for new processes or tools
- Work with Process Integration Engineers to set-up product qualification plans
- Lead new process tool investments
- Explore relevant tool vendors and collect information
- E.g. design experiment to demo various processes/tools/vendors
- E.g. write reports and proposals on new tools for decision making
- Lead improvement activities and the development of new processes
- E.g. improve process yield and productivity/efficiency
- E.g. identify weaknesses and suggest improvement projects
- Define and lead new development activities e.g. for future products
- Write technical reports documentation and analyze technical information
- E.g. write area instructions process instructions or tool instructions
- E.g. write project plans or test plans
- E.g. write technical reports on evaluations experiments etc.
- E.g. read technical papers or publications to collect information
ABOUT YOU
Solid technical competence in the field of responsibility especially for InP optoelectronic components
Master of Science or PhD in Physics Material Science Engineering Chemistry or equivalent
Fluent in Swedish & English
Proactive and able to drive changes in a production environment
Work in a systematic and organized way
Hands-on roll up sleeves attitude team player
Clear and efficient communication and documentation skills
Work experience from a semiconductor lab
