PositionSummary
TheAutomotive AccountingProfessional helps with general accounting duties.
TheAutomotiveAccounting Professional will function primarily in all aspects of thePayrollfunction including but not limited to:
Perform all duties of Accounts Payable functionincluding but not limited toprocessing invoices payments and reconciling monthly vendor statements.
Track and Maintain expense review sheet
Enter Payroll information to Payroll system for all payrolls.
Review Payroll registers for accuracy of earnings and deductions.
Reconcile and verify employee benefit enrollments changes and terminations to ensureaccuratepayroll deductions.
Maintain andtrackemployeeaccountsreceivable balances to ensureaccurateandtimelypayroll deductions.
Maintain and update the company organizational charton a monthly basis.
Support the daily operations of the accounting department.
Review general ledger accounts and prepare correcting entries when necessary.
Prepare and post journal entriesin accordance withcompany procedures.
Reconcilefinance receivable statements and investigate discrepancies as needed.
TheAutomotiveAccounting Professional will record andmaintainbusiness transactionssafeguardingcustomer personal records and reporting andcorrectingany non-compliance. This position is expected to respond to and support departmental managers requestingadditionalinformation affecting their individual departments.
GeneralResponsibilities
Ensure assigned accounting tasks are completed accurately on time andin accordance withestablished deadlines and commitments.
Demonstratestrong communication customer service organizational and analytical skills in daily responsibilities.
Maintain a professional appearance and contribute to a professional work environment.
Attend required companywidetrainingsand meetings.
Performadditionalduties and specialprojects asassigned.
Requirements
General Bookkeeping or Public accounting experience - Preferred
