As a Security Officer - Patrol in Sioux City IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations communicate clearly with site contacts and deliver customer service that supports daily operations. Guided by our agile reliable and innovative approach you will act with integrity put people first and work as part of a strong team.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas warehouses offices yards and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards such as spills blocked exits or damaged doors.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry including checking identification managing visitor sign-in and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas in a food and beverage processing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services and assisting with crowd and traffic control when needed.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation communicate via radio and/or phone and support investigations by preserving information and observations according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
