The ideal candidate will have a min. of 1-2 years Accounting experience with previous reconciliation and bank accounts hands on experience ideally in hospitality. Excel knowledge is imperative. If you are also bilingual that will be a great plus!
Shift Pattern:Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:30PM with occasional weekends and holidays availability when needed.

What will I be doing
The Staff Accountant assists the Accounting Managers Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance in the supervision of the Hotel finance office pertaining to all computerized accounting systems month-end closing reports balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation. Performs daily cash vendor and third-party reconciliations. Will also research as necessary regarding other finance issues.
In addition to performance this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company:
Reconcile General Ledger accounts and review problematic accounts. Perform Daily Cash Vendor statements and Third-party reconciliations.
Assists Assistant Director of Finance with ensuring that daily/monthly tasks are being performed.
Works with Managers Director of Finance and Assistant Director to assign tasks to team members.
Provide guidance monitor accuracy and timeliness of work produced by team members.
Assist with month-end closing process as directed.
Assist with monthly compliance audits payroll audits and other duties as assigned.
Maintains records processes paperwork reconciliations resolves discrepancies end of period processes verifies information and monitors procedures to ensure compliance with accounting procedures and Company standards.
