Reports To:Director of Volunteer/Pro Bono Engagement

Position Summary:

The Development Coordinator supports NMILCs fundraising and donor engagement efforts through CRM managementdonation fundsreconciliationdonor stewardship campaign coordination and administrative support.Working closely with the Development team and Executive team this role helps ensure that donor records areaccurate acknowledgements aretimely stewardship strategies are implemented effectively and fundraising operations run smoothly throughout the year.

Primary Responsibilities:

Donor Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintainaccurateandtimelydonor and gift records in the CRM database including data entry updates corrections and supportingDevelopmentteam Executive team and Board of Directors in documentation of donor interactions.
  • Ensure integrity confidentiality and organization of alldonorand gift informationin accordance withinternal policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate regular database maintenance and reconciliation with the Finance Department.
  • Prepare andmaintainsupporting documentation for weekly ACH donations from various donor platforms ensuring all contributions reconcile accurately with bank deposits.
  • Generateaccuratelists and reports to support donor mailings electronic communications stewardship strategies grant reporting and the annual report.

Donor Acknowledgements&Stewardship

  • Coordinatetimelydonor acknowledgements and welcome materials to ensure donors feel appreciated and connected to NMILCsmission.
  • Support the implementation of stewardship and cultivation strategies by tracking follow-up actions for the Development Team Executive Director and Board of Directors.
  • Assistwith donor retention efforts including monthly donor engagement and renewal strategies.
  • Identifyopportunities for meaningful donor outreach recognition and storytelling that strength relationships and build long-term support.

Fundraising Campaigns andEvents

  • Coordinate donor appreciation events house parties third-party fundraising campaigns and other gatheringsthat expand NMILCs fundraisingcapacity.
  • Support the planning and coordination of online and mail-based fundraising campaigns including Giving Tuesday and other special initiatives.
  • Ensuretimelyrecognition and reporting of third-party gifts and campaign outcomes.
  • Supportlogisticsfor NMILC fundraising events including scheduling vendor coordination materials preparation and travel arrangements as needed.

Communications &Annual Report

  • Projectmanagecomponents of the annual report process coordinating timelines stakeholders and vendors to ensure completion on schedule.
  • Support donor mailings and electronic communications including list management personalizationtrackingandaccuratedocument in the CRM.
  • Ensure that fundraising communications arecoordinated well-organizedand accessible for future reference.

Administrative&Executive Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Development team including meeting coordination logging donation checks preparation of materials and reports file management and maintenance of the inventory of fundraising materials and supplies.
  • Support cross-department collaboration with Communications Finance and Pro Bono teams.
  • Assistwith special initiatives such as the annual staff thank-a-thon NMILC alumni network and NMILC Ambassadors Program that expand NMILCs community of supporters.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising coordination project management development operations or related administrative work.
  • Experience working with CRM (contact relationship management) databases and donor data systems including administrative and data entry.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Succinct and compelling writer with strong editing skills and proactive communicative problem-solving research and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail self-directive and ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume settings while staying adaptable under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.

Preferred:

  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Experience with data analysis and advanced CRM functionality
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience in nonprofit or immigration-focused organizations.



Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting Rate: $23.00/hour (full-time non-exempt) with upward adjustments for additional relevant experience.
  • Health Insurance:100% of individual employee premium paid (base plan); 50% for dependents. Buy-up plan available.
