The Director Hospital Based Provider Relations will oversee the operational execution of Hospital Based Services including Hospital Medicine Emergency Medicine Anesthesia and Radiology by establishing and monitoring standardized workflows performance metrics and process improvements. This role will manage structured engagement with Hospital Based Providers and facility leaders ensuring consistent onboarding credentialing performance evaluation and ongoing development.

The Director will operationalize the Hospital Based Provider strategy through systematic management of contracting service-line assessments joint ventures and partnership performance using data-driven insights to identify gaps and implement targeted interventions that optimize provider performance service quality and organizational outcomes.

How youll contribute

ADirector Hospital Based Provider Relations who excels in this role:

• Partner with HSC leadership to implement standardized oversight processes for Hospital Based Services ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

• Manage anesthesia and radiology service agreements including both professional service agreements and employed models through structured workflows and documented accountability.

• Establish and maintain standardized processes for engaging and evaluating partner vendors including financial and operational performance monitoring and issue resolution.

• Implement structured engagement and communication processes with key healthcare providers groups and facilities to ensure consistent collaboration and performance alignment.

• Conduct systematic review and analysis of clinical quality operational and financial metrics of Hospital Based Providers delivering actionable recommendations for performance improvement.

• Maintain a centralized inventory of all Hospital Based Provider relationships ensuring accurate documentation and process visibility.

• Develop and manage a structured tracker for RFPs and contracts monitoring progress deadlines and outcomes to support operational accountability.

• Define monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for providers analyzing utilization quality and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to align provider relations processes with strategic organizational goals.

• Execute additional operational tasks as assigned to support department and organizational initiatives.

What were looking for
Applicants should have aBachelors Degree with 5 years of related experience with 3 years of managing hospital-based contracts preferably in a complex health system.Additional requirements include:

• In depth knowledge of healthcare regulations compliance and industry best practice.

• Proven track record in contract negotiation relationship management and strategic planning.

• Background in accounting and finance

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
