The Assistant General Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence mentoring department leaders and maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality. Competitive Salary: $78000 - $82000 gross annually based on previous experience & education.

Job Duties Include:

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in leading mentoring and developing a high-performing leadership team fostering a culture of service excellence accountability and collaboration.

• Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring seamless service delivery adherence to luxury standards (LQA/Forbes) and a consistent high-end guest experience.

• Maintain a visible leadership presence on the floor proactively resolving guest concerns and supporting the team during all service periods including acting as Manager on Duty when required.

• Drive financial performance by supporting revenue growth managing labor and operational costs assisting with forecasting and ensuring effective inventory control.

• Enhance guest satisfaction by monitoring feedback implementing continuous improvements and supporting innovative food and beverage initiatives that elevate the dining experience.

• Ensure effective communication and operational alignment across departments while supporting administrative functions such as scheduling payroll accuracy compliance and reporting.

Qualifications :

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 35 years of progressive leadership experience in Food & Beverage Management.
• Experience in upscale or luxury hospitality environments (45 star properties preferred).
• Proven ability to lead and develop management teams.
• Strong understanding of LQA and Forbes service standards preferred.
• Strong beverage and culinary knowledge required.
• Must hold ProServe certification.
• Post-secondary education in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Management considered an asset.
• Working knowledge of systems such as Silverware Birchstreet Watson considered an asset.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting cost control and labor management.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
