Director Audit Technology

We are seeking individuals at a Director level to join our dynamic Advanced Analytics and Emerging Technology team at KPMG and unlock your full potential. As part of our Audit and Assurance division youll be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that support external audit and assurance engagements. Our team is dedicated to providing data-driven technology-focused solutions that address complex challenges for both our external audit teams and clients.

Your Opportunity

As a Director within the vibrant Data Analytics & Emerging Technology team at KPMG you will be accountable for shaping the future of technology propositions within our Audit and Assurance services. We offer you the chance to:

• Take ownership of the end-to-end data and analytics life cycle from working with our clients/engagement teams to identify technology capabilities that respond to audit risks working with programmers to build the solution delivering the technical capability and then communicating the value of the capability in market
• Drive and execute the gotomarket (GTM) strategy for audit technology and innovation by owning and shaping technology-enabled audit propositions translating complex technical capabilities into clear client value commercial outcomes and audit quality improvements. Support key pursuits with compelling technology narratives demonstrations and clienttailored value propositions.
• Champion KPMGs AI story by articulating our AI strategy capabilities and value proposition to clients and stakeholders within the division. Lead discussions on Trusted AI in audit and demonstrate how AIenabled tools enhance quality efficiency and generate insights for engagements.
• Elevate data and AI literacy across the audit practice by designing and leading targeted upskilling programs empowering auditors to confidently apply datadriven techniques interpret AIsupported insights and operate effectively in a digitally enabled audit environment.
• Act as a senior client-facing leader who can influence executive stakeholders and Audit Committees on the role of data analytics and emerging technology in enhancing audit quality.
• Lead compelling client narratives that clearly articulate how technology data and analytics enhance audit quality manage risk and deliver business insighttailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Own and oversee a portfolio of technology-enabled audit engagements with accountability for quality commercial performance risk management and client outcomes
• Build and scale high-performing teams by setting technical standards developing future leaders and fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement
• Act as a translator between technologists auditors and clients to articulate the impact that technology brings to the evolving audit risk landscape
• Utilise advanced data analytics tools including Databricks PySpark SQL Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and AI-powered solutions to drive decision-making and auditing innovations.
• Hone your analytical abilities to generate powerful insights that aid our engagement teams and are pivotal to critical decisions.
• Mentor and enhance junior team members skills through coaching and targeted technical training.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of engagements contributing to the successful delivery of technology-driven Audit & Assurance projects.
• Influence the audit process by testing and deploying sophisticated Data and Analytics tools as well as managing transformative projects that redefine the role of data analytics in auditing.
• Stay abreast of industry trends through continuing education and specialised training programs.
• Serve as both an engagement and subject matter expert in data analytics projects ensuring the delivery of high-quality budget-compliant services that meet clients and internal teams expectations.
• Facilitate stakeholder management by engaging in open transparent communication managing expectations interpreting analysis outputs and serving as an escalation contact.

• Deep technical credibility and experience designing overseeing and assuring complex data and analytics solutions using technologies such as Databricks PySpark SQL Azure and AI-enabled platform for processing analysing and deriving insights from large datasets.
• Ability to lead client conversations on the latest technologies impacting the audit and assurance division.  
• Proven leadership project management critical thinking problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Firm grasp of people management and client relationship maintenance.
