The commercial department consists of 5 teams: E-commerce & Loyalty Revenue Management & Sales strategy Digital Experience Business Intelligence and Retail. We are fully accountable for Topline performance across all client segments.
The E-commerce Performance director is a newly created global role designed to orchestrate all e-commerce performance levers across brands and regions streamline the organization and maximize online revenue ROI and contribution.
Reporting to the VP E-commerce & Loyalty the role acts as the global conductor of digital commercial performance ensuring strong alignment between global expertise regional priorities and hotel-level execution. This new position is based at Accor headquarters in Issy-les-Moulineaux France.
As E-commerce Performance director your core mission is to drive online revenue growth direct and indirect by building and optimizing a high-performing digital ecosystem at corporate and hotels levels. You are accountable for achieving the annual online revenue targets.
You will lead a team of experts composed by a paid media senior manager a content & e-merchandising senior manager a CRM manager and a Go-To-Market senior manager.
You will partner closely with regional ecommerce directors ensuring the consistency between the global strategy and regional / hotels needs to deliver best-in-class digital performance and commercial results.
Here are the main missions you will be performing:
- In accordance with the VP Ecommerce & Loyalty you will deliver the ecommerce B2C and B2B distribution strategy of Sofitel Sofitel Legend MGallery and Emblems.
- You build commercial action plan with the help of the regional e-commerce directors & loyalty director to maximize business opportunities globally regionally and locally.
- You follow and optimize the distribution budget between paid acquisition (SEA metasearch display retargeting affiliate) and organic levers (CRM SEO E-Merchandising) to generate maximum incremental business and ROI across brands regions and channels.
- You manage the relation with our media partners (agencies and media owners).
- You define the way of working and goals for your team.
Main KPIs are: Revenue Net RevPAR Incremental Topline Conversion rate Contribution rate New customers Content Score Organic vs. Paid ROI/ROAs
Qualifications :
What you will bring to the role
- You have 10-12 years of experience in e-commerce ideally acquired in a leadership role managing digital marketing / online acquisition / websites.
- You have a strong business sense with a strong leadership skill.
- You are data-driven with a strong customer-centric approach.
- You are a team player and show strong collaboration track record.
- You are familiar with the different media channels and acquisition levers.
- You are curious: you like being up to date with best practices and trends.
- You have very good verbal and written communication skills in English and French is a plus.
- You have a strong interest in the Luxury & Hospitality industries.
