About the Team & Business Line:

Citco Fund Services provides a full spectrum of fund administration services for a wide range of asset classes (including hedge funds private assets real assets and alternative investments) as well as investor relations loan servicing and middle office solutions. Our strategic presence in financial centres across the Americas Caribbean Europe Middle East and Asia enables continuous operational coverage and seamless service delivery to our global client base.

In tandem with significant business growth a Transformation Office has been established to create a consistent ability in the standardization and optimization of our organisation in response to business demands and client needs. Group Risk Management is pivotal in establishing strong governance surrounding significant change management initiatives in the scaling and evolution of the business and ensuring robust adherence to related policies and procedures.

The Change Management Liaison role will be responsible for representing Group Risk Management in establishing connection to key stakeholders involved in the delivery of significant change management initiatives. You will provide assurance that governance oversight is robustly implemented such that ever-evolving services consistently meet with the risk appetite of the organisation. As a core member of Group Risk Management you will be working with some of the industrys most accomplished professionals to deliver the most effective and efficient solutions for our clients and our business.



Responsibilities

Your Role:

Your primary responsibilities are to:

  • Oversee governance surrounding alignment and effectiveness within the adoption of transformative change management initiatives to achieve desired client and business outcomes in adherence with Citcos related policies.
  • Collaborate with Transformation Office portfolio managers sponsors and business leadership in the implementation of business strategies and goals in executable projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams responsible for project delivery process improvement platform and technology integration ensuring consistent alignment with the overall strategic vision for CFS.
  • Oversee and support senior management to ensure that (i) all risks are identified assessed and managed and ii) the control environment is well-designed comprehensive and effective. This should be achieved in the context of the business strategy and risk appetite and in line with applicable laws and regulations internal policies procedures and limits.
  • Attend relevant steering committee and key project meetings to track milestones updates identify issues and direct escalations where required and ensure that project risk is managed in accordance with appetite for the organisation.
  • Promote strict policy adherence within the execution of key change management initiatives
  • Represent Group Risk Management in fostering a change-positive culture with business technology and client partners. Promote a strong risk culture with high levels of risk awareness.
  • Ensure high levels of risk awareness good risk management and control design / control operation competencies underpinned by a strong risk culture. This includes ensuring that all procedures and controls operate in accordance with risk policy comply with relevant regulation and behave in line with the Citco Corporate Code of Ethics.
  • Perform analysis of business risks providing a check and challenge role of first line risk assessment(s).
  • Oversee the health of the control environment and coordinate with management to improve controls where deficiencies are detected.
  • Direct assessment of key risk issues including management and escalation thereafter where in breach of risk appetite.
  • Create & deliver presentations tailored to internal and client senior leadership teams.

You will be most effective in the role if you operate as a trusted advisor providing valued advice and support as well as influencing through constructive challenge. You will need to build strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including the Group functions internally.

Based on organisational priorities you may occasionally be required to operate in other areas of Citco and/or travel to other Citco offices across the globe.



Qualifications

About You:

  • Seasoned risk professional with extensive experience. 10 years of experience in change management and organisational transformation.
  • Experience of senior leadership positions and an understanding of the importance of acting as a role model. Able to motivate staff across the organisation and generate enthusiasm for and alignment with good risk management practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of the services offered in the Fund Services domain (including Fund Administration Fund Accounting NAV calculations and Investor Relations) and the end-to-end processes and infrastructure required to deliver these products and services to clients.
  • Deep understanding of risk management frameworks and control environments (especially Non-Financial Risk Management) in financial services.
  • Experience of identifying and addressing deficiencies in risk management and/or control operation across the full product lifecycle and/or end-to-end processes.
  • Good understanding and awareness of market-standard approaches for risk mitigation and control design and execution. Familiarity with relevant regulation and regulatory expectation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical skill set and broad industry knowledge gained at major global financial institutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading / overseeing large-scale transformation programs.
  • Proven ability to build positive working relationships with senior stakeholders across all three lines of defense able to become a trusted advisor whilst maintaining the ability to provide robust challenge.
  • Advanced degree in business organisational development or related field.
  • Professional certifications in Change Management (PROSCI CCMP or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation. Able to convey complex topics simply and to articulate issues in a way that eases decision making and drives action.
