Your New Role and Responsibilities
Develop and manage support system requirements for maritime platforms ensuring alignment with operational safety and sustainment needs.
Contribute to the transition from requirements development to support system design working closely with engineering and project teams.
Support the delivery of a critical maritime engineering project ensuring supportability considerations are embedded throughout the lifecycle.
Assistin the development of safety-critical operational procedures and sustainment strategies to support long-term platform operation.
Be based in Canberra or Newcastle
WhatYoullBring to Makean Impact
Experience in systems engineering or support system engineering ideally within maritime defence or complex engineering environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and deliver outcomes with limited supervision.
Knowledge of reliability engineering safety engineering or infrastructure operations and sustainment (highly regarded).
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical requirements clearly to stakeholders.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen andhold a baseline security clearance andwilling to obtain and hold a NV-1 or greater security clearance.
