Your New Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage support system requirements for maritime platforms ensuring alignment with operational safety and sustainment needs.

  • Contribute to the transition from requirements development to support system design working closely with engineering and project teams.

  • Support the delivery of a critical maritime engineering project ensuring supportability considerations are embedded throughout the lifecycle.

  • Assistin the development of safety-critical operational procedures and sustainment strategies to support long-term platform operation.

  • Be based in Canberra or Newcastle

WhatYoullBring to Makean Impact

  • Experience in systems engineering or support system engineering ideally within maritime defence or complex engineering environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and deliver outcomes with limited supervision.

  • Knowledge of reliability engineering safety engineering or infrastructure operations and sustainment (highly regarded).

  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical requirements clearly to stakeholders.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen andhold a baseline security clearance andwilling to obtain and hold a NV-1 or greater security clearance.
