Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Driver Screening in Irving TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location you will greet drivers and team members support access control and conduct screening and inspection procedures to help reduce security-related incidents. You will monitor activity document findings communicate clearly and respond with a calm service-focused approach. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license with opportunities to deliver agile reliable service through teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Screen employees visitors and drivers at entry points by verifying identification checking credentials and controlling access in accordance with site requirements.
- Inspect inbound and outbound packages trailers and shipments as directed to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized removal of property.
- Monitor CCTV alarm systems and loading dock activity to identify irregular conditions and report concerns through established communication channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner document events and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
