About this position:
The Hydro Aide will assist the plant personnel in performing routine grounds maintenance and general labor tasks. They will be assigned to clean-up painting mowing weed cutting and other duties. The position may be required to operate mowers and other mobile equipment in addition to using a variety of hand tools. This job description is not meant to be all-inclusive and will include other reasonable work expectations as assigned. This position is temporary through the summer months usually from mid-May until Labor Day.
About this job:
- Operate mobile equipment including various types of mowers and grass trimming equipment etc..
- General plant clean-up and organization
- Cleaning and painting equipment and buildings
- Use of hand tools
- Spraying chemicals and other aspects of grounds keeping methods
- Operate and repair sprinklers
- Perform individual lifts and manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
- Must pass physical test to access all areas of the hydro plants including climbing ladders confined and cramped wet slippery quarters and traveling rough terrain
