Security Officer Multi-Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Multi-Site Patrol in Sunnyvale TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail and mall setting you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet shoppers and staff with professional customer service communicate clearly and document observations while partnering with site teams. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and established emergency response activities for a retail and/or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of sales floors common areas back-of-house spaces parking areas and perimeter doors to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation coordinating with site management and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances exits and receiving areas verifying access where required and watching for suspicious behavior shoplifting indicators and/or loitering.
• Complete shift activity logs and incident reports with clear accurate details and communicate noteworthy observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
