POSITION SUMMARY
Barton Malow Company is seeking Project Engineers to join our team on a thermal project in New Albany OH. This role involves planning developing coordinating supervising and monitoring onsite construction engineering activities for projects. The Project Engineer will act as a liaison with architects engineers and owners regarding project progress and changes ensuring seamless communication and execution.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues.
- Manage all project document control.
- Process submittals and RFIs.
- Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.
- Maintain project schedule.
- Prepare and issue meeting minutes.
- Assist with planning and managing site logistics.
- Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite.
- Receive and review/evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders.
- Manage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 4-year engineering construction management or related degree.
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experienceor related construction internship experience.
- OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred.
- Well-organized detail-oriented and ability to be self-directed in problem-solving.
- Proactive attitude with commitment to safety.
- Please note this role will report to the project site daily and travel is required.
