Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking afull-timeBachelors Level Mental Health Professional to join our teamat Fulton Reception and DiagnosticCorrectional Center located in FultonMissouri.
TheBachelors Level Mental Health Professionalprovides basic mental health treatment in the form of psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds and assists with discharge planning/re-entry and serves in other supportive roles as requested to the mental health staff under the supervision of licensed mental health staff in collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team in a correctional setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in the social sciences (i.e. psychology social work counseling or related field) from an accredited educational institution required
- Experience conducting psycho-educational groups preferred
- Experience in a correctional environment preferred
- Minimum of one year experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred
- Must show current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
