Job Summary

Long Term

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving inspecting storing picking packing and shipping materials and products. This role ensures accuracy efficiency and compliance with safety standards while maintaining an organized and productive warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspection

  • Receive inspect and unload incoming shipments of materials and products.
  • Verify quantities product condition and accuracy against packing slips bills of lading or other shipping documents.
  • Identify and report damaged products shortages or discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment

  • Accurately pick pack stage and prepare customer or internal orders for shipment.
  • Label wrap and secure products to prevent damage during storage or transit.
  • Assist with loading outbound trucks and coordinating shipment schedules.

Inventory Management

  • Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
  • Maintain accurate records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or manual logs.

Equipment Operation

  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks forklifts and hand trucks (as certified).
  • Conduct basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs.

Safety & Facility Upkeep

  • Follow all safety procedures OSHA guidelines and company policies.
  • Keep warehouse areas clean organized and free of hazards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety organization and workflow efficiency.

Teamwork & General Support

  • Work collaboratively with shipping production and supervisory teams to meet daily operational goals.
  • Perform other warehouse or production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with WMS preferred.
  • Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions prioritize tasks and work both independently and in a team environment.
