As the Regional Market Manager for Electrification Adhesives and Sealants you will responsible for translating and implementing the global market and product strategies within their assigned region. You will ensure that regional customer needs competitive dynamics and regulatory conditions are fully understood and communicated upward while driving profitable growth portfolio optimization and successful regional launch execution.
The scope of responsibility includes core automotive adhesive and sealant and all electrification technologies across the battery pack. The key areas of accountability are: Market Management Product Management Performance Management and Cross-functional strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Sales Pipeline Oversight: Ensure sufficiency and quality of the sales pipeline for your respective region technology and application (exterior and interior) taking proactive measures to close gaps and achieve growth objectives.
Voice of Customer (VOC): Organize and execute periodic regional VOC initiatives to capture customer insights on performance aesthetics sustainability and cost requirements.
Trend & Risk Analysis: Gather forward-looking trends to anticipate market shifts sustainability mandates and technology disruptions.
Competitive Intelligence: Establishing educated and quantifiable positions on an on-going basis related to external market (VOC competitive regulatory mega-trends) and internal (cost complexity) feedback. Provide insights to Global Market Managers for roadmap alignment.
NPI: Translate regional product roadmap into New Product Introduction (NPI) projects; own regional projects end-to-end including business case development and benefit realization.
Product Roadmap & Portfolio Optimization: Update and maintain regional product roadmaps (product life cycles year-end production pricing guidelines PPO definition etc.) ensure alignment with market feedback and technology advancements. Support execution of global product roadmap within the region. Determine when and how to sunset legacy products to maintain a competitive cost-effective portfolio while minimizing complexity.
Launch Execution: Partner with the commercial sales team to forecast and execute regional product launches ensuring joint accountability for success.
Cost Optimization: Identify and prioritize regional formula-cost reduction opportunities.
Training & Enablement: Develop regional technology training program content for commercial teams to strengthen value-based selling capabilities.
Marketing Collateral: Lead creation of regional marketing content and partner with Marketing Communications to develop materials (customer presentations press releases conference papers) to reinforce PPGs leadership in A&S and Electrification.
Financial Planning: Support global team with regional inputs for market analyses.
Performance Tracking: Monitor share gain churn and profitability against plan; implement corrective actions where needed.
Gap Closure: Partner with commercial and technical teams to address sales or product deficiencies impacting growth objectives.
Strategic Collaboration: Drive alignment between Sales Technical Operations Supply Chain and MarCom. Execute regional activities under global initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in STEM Business Marketing or related field.
5 years in automotive coatings chemicals or related industries.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Project management experience.
Ability to travel regionally and occasionally globally.
