Job Summary

Role Purpose:

Overview of the Job:The role is responsible for setting merchandising strategy bringing end to end product insight with global and geo counterparts as well as product sell-in to retailers. Serve GC consumers with the most relevant products to enable Converses vision and drive sustainable the one team philosophy through partnership with X-functional teams and global merchandising teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build product assortment for retail concepts in a consumer-centric way.
  • Delivers robust product sell-in to retailers including sell-in tools preparation product presentation & sample setup etc.
  • Explores consumer insights & marketplace trend through creative ways to make art/science balanced assortment decision.
  • Drives in-season product management based on solid weekly sales analysis & consumer insights from retail stores.
  • Evolves store product assortment strategy innovatively based on the fast-changing consumer demand & dynamic marketplace.
  • Coordinate assigned project process and deliverables
  • Quick response to ad-hoc local business team request

Key accountabilities:

  • Deliver and participate in the key corporate gates and Consumer facing deliverables
  • Ensure assortments support financial targets in partnership with Planning and Analytics
  • Read and react to in season analytics and identify opportunities to adapt current business and inform future assortments merchandising strategies and strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Global and RPC team to get after product opportunities to serve GC consumer needs.
