About the Role

The school is seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable Head of Physics to lead Physics teaching across the school while delivering high-quality lessons at KS3 KS4 and KS5.

You will play a key role in driving academic excellence in Physics supporting colleagues within the Science department and ensuring students develop a strong understanding of both theoretical and practical scientific principles.

The successful candidate will lead curriculum planning contribute to departmental strategy and support the continued development of strong GCSE and A Level results in Physics.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a highly academic environment where students are motivated and enthusiastic about STEM subjects.

Experience and Qualifications

Ability to teach Physics across KS3KS5
Degree in Physics or a closely related discipline
PGCE/QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience leading or contributing to departmental development
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Physics education
Legal right to work in the UK
