Job Summary
A well-regarded secondary school in Poole is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PE ECT to join its successful Physical Education department from September. The Role
The school is looking for an energetic PE ECT who can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire students to develop confidence teamwork and a lifelong appreciation for sport and physical activity.
Responsibilities of the PE ECT include:
Teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging practical lessons across a range of sports and activities
Supporting students to develop fitness teamwork and sporting skills
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to support improvement
Contributing to extracurricular sport fixtures and school competitions

The Ideal Candidate
The successful PE ECT will:
Be completing or have recently completed a PGCE or teacher training programme in Physical Education
Be able to teach PE across KS3 and KS4
Demonstrate enthusiasm for sport and physical education
Have strong communication and classroom management skills
Be eager to contribute to extracurricular sport and fixtures
