The school is seeking an organised and proactive School Administrator to join the busy administrative team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office while providing professional support to staff students and parents.
This is a key position within the school requiring someone who can manage multiple priorities communicate effectively and maintain high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
Providing administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff
Managing incoming phone calls emails and enquiries from parents and external agencies
Maintaining accurate student records using the schools management information system
Supporting admissions processes and maintaining pupil data
Assisting with attendance administration and monitoring procedures
Preparing documents reports and correspondence for leadership staff
Coordinating school communications including letters newsletters and announcements
Organising meetings booking rooms and preparing agendas where required
Supporting the organisation of school events trips and enrichment activities
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed when handling student information
Maintaining filing systems and ensuring records are stored securely
Assisting with general office duties including photocopying scanning and distribution of materials
The successful applicant will be highly organised reliable and able to work effectively as part of a professional office team.
They will demonstrate strong communication skills and a positive approach when dealing with students staff and parents.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently will be essential.
Previous administrative experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Competence in Microsoft Office applications
Experience using school information systems such as SIMS or Arbor is advantageous
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
