Job Purpose
As a Senior Software & Data Engineer you will join the Parties Squad within the COI Tribe and play a key handson role in building evolving and operating Euroclears Parties Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. You will design and develop robust scalable and secure software and data services that are critical to customer onboarding and interaction processes across Euroclear. As a senior member of the squad you will act as a technical reference contributing to engineering excellence mentoring other developers and ensuring high standards of quality performance and reliability in production environments.
Your Mission
In this role you will:
- Design develop and maintain complex high-performance software and data solutions.
- Contribute to the integration and evolution of a Master Data Management (MDM) platform.
- Define and promote development standards ensuring code quality security and maintainability.
- Act as a technical mentor and coach supporting and guiding other developers.
- Identify analyse and proactively address technical challenges and risks.
- Participate in ideation workshops contribute to product and platform enhancements.
- Contribute to the definition estimation and implementation of technical requirements (user stories).
- Support application deployment monitoring and maintenance in cloud environments
- Participate in watch duty and hotline support including occasional night and weekend shifts
Your Profile
You are a passionate and experienced engineer who brings both technical depth and a collaborative mindset. You have:
- 10 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer with strong expertise in .NET (Framework & Core).
- Proven experience delivering solutions in Azure-based cloud environments.
- Experience or strong interest in Master Data Management (MDM) integration.
- Solid experience with DevOps practices.
- A strong focus on performance reliability and IT security.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- A methodical rigorous and autonomous way of working with a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in multicultural international teams.
- Fluency in English.
Technical Skills
- Backend: .NET Core (6/8) C# Java (8) Spring Boot
- Frontend: Angular HTML CSS/SCSS
- Integration & Messaging: REST APIs microservices IBM MQ RabbitMQ (or equivalent)
- Azure: Azure Functions Logic Apps APIM AKS Azure SQL Entra ID
- DevOps & Tooling: CI/CD Entity Framework NuGet Webpack
- Nice to have: Kafka Azure Data Factory Splunk OAuth WCF
