Position is responsible for researching troubleshooting and resolving issues that the staff and students might have with their district issued technology including laptops chromebooks tablets classroom computers printers document cameras and FUNCTIONSThe essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar related or a logical assignment to the troubleshooting and problem solving skills as they relate to computer hardware and with Mac managing Chromebooks iPads Macbooks with the Google Admin Console and an MDM and experience in various software products including Microsoft Office and G Suite .Various operating systems including; Mac OS Apple iOS and Chrome OS Windows .Troubleshoot and repair devices such as Macbooks Chromebooks iPads LCD/Laser projectors printers copiers audio and lighting systemsReceive and prioritize work requests via ticket technical support to staff and students on hardware software and network access issuesProject-based work as needed. Communication with outside contracted vendors for service and to prioritize work orders and work under to work independently and as part of a ability to work with minimum supervisionExcellent research and troubleshooting skills. Troubleshoot and maintain VoIP telephone equipment and with Student Information SystemsManage system security including user account creation and privileges for responsible systemsManage system upgrades and software installation projects as assignedBasic networking concepts (TCP/IP protocol and WAN environments)Collaborate with the Network Team to resolve firewallserver switch and wifi issuesPerform other tasks as assigned by SupervisorAt least 3 years of relevant experience preferredAssist in maintaining a district-wide software and hardware other duties assigned by the Director of Technology
