Job Summary
Position Overview

Youll help achieve this mission as a Receiver/Checker by ensuring that the correct merchandise is received by the facility free of damage infestation and in correct quantities.

Job Description
Pay:$18/hour (Plus shift differential & freezer premium)
Schedule:
2 different schedules available - both 530pm start until done (13 hour shifts)
Wednesday Thursday Friday OR Sunday Monday Tuesday
Location:4875 N Susquehanna Trail York PA 17406 USA
You will contribute by:
Examining contents and compare with records such as manifests invoices or orders to verify accuracy of incoming shipment. Record the correct count and pallet type for input upon completion of the PO.
Record shipment data into computer system such as weight charges space availability and damages and discrepancies for reporting accounting and record-keeping purposes. Maintain accurate counts on inbound freight to insure appropriate warehouse storage availability.
Assisting with maintaining an accurate inventory through cycle/directed counting. Research customer service issues including but not limited to shortages overages and damages and recommend appropriate response.
Monitoring warehouse management system for open invoices.
Supporting the even flow from receiving to shipping and communicate issues and concerns. Identify and monitor high volume and high dollar items during shipping process.
Labeling all pallets to be stocked and verify accuracy of inbound freight received by comparing the purchase order with the bill of lading. Record discrepancies on bill of lading and inform clerk and/or appropriate management of damage and inventory shortages
Perform all other daily/weekly/monthly tasks not specifically mentioned herein as described in the inventory control SOP program.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Your work environment may include:
Freezer: -10 to 40 degrees
searching for candidates with:
At least six months of warehouse experience
Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred
Ability to work in varying temperatures.
Ability to work a ten hour shift with occasional overtime.
Ability to operate the necessary equipment.
Ability to lift between 30 70 lbs walk/ stand up to 12 hrs.
Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
