Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to oversee and optimize our manufacturing processes specifically focusing on hydraulic press operations and welding workstations. You will be responsible for ensuring production targets are met through process improvement equipment maintenance oversight and technical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Management: Oversee the daily operation of hydraulic presses and welding lines (MIG/TIG/Spot) to ensure maximum throughput and minimal downtime.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hydraulic systems (valves pumps cylinders) and welding parameters.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control standards to ensure all parts meet structural and dimensional specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and cycle times.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all machinery and welding stations comply with safety regulations and that operators follow proper PPE and handling protocols.
