About the Role-

Now Hiring Heavy Equipment Technicians

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to support field operations in Fort McMurray Alberta. This role is ideal for technicians who have experience working in mining environments and are comfortable operating in demanding field conditions while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Position Details:
Location: Fort McMurray Alberta
Work Scope: Field maintenance and repair of heavy equipment
Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational shift

Key Responsibilities:
Perform field maintenance diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment used in mining operations.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate documentation of service and repair work.
Adhere to all site safety policies and industry safety standards.

Qualifications:
Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience in mining environments.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work independently in remote field conditions.
Strong commitment to maintaining safety and compliance on mine sites.
