Position Overview The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) is seeking a highly detail oriented and motivated Contract Administration Specialist to support the review processing monitoring and management of contract rates. This role ensures accurate and compliant rate administration for Home and Community Based Service (HCBS) providers tied to QVA IPA and SPC contracts.
This position works collaboratively with DDD Central Office Programs-including Business Operations Quality Assurance Health Care Services Provider Network Services State Operated Residential Programs OLCR DES Procurement contractors and other key external partners.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical organizational and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Work Schedule - Hybrid: 1 day in office 4 days remote
- Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities - Review process and manage contract rates for DDD Contract Administration.
- Ensure accuracy completeness and regulatory compliance for contract documentation.
- Verify required contract and rate elements to support timely provider payments.
- Manage activities related to QVA IPA and SPC contract rate processing.
- Assist with contract amendments terminations confidentiality statements and related documentation.
- Prepare and deliver reports correspondence and meeting materials.
- Maintain complex automated record keeping and tracking systems.
- Collaborate regularly with internal DDD departments procurement teams state offices and contracted service providers.
Required Skills & Competencies - Solid understanding of Title XIX (AHCCCS) Federal and State laws related to contracting billing and payments.
- Strong ability to draft review and maintain DDD policy related documents and service specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving negotiation logical reasoning and decision making abilities.
- High level of organization attention to detail and ability to manage complex workloads.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid telework/office environment.
- Full proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain detailed automated tracking and documentation systems.
Minimum Requirements - 1 year experience in finance business operations contracting or a related field.
- Experience using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
- Must be local at time of submission and able to attend in person interviews as required.
- Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer issuance.
- Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening through HireRight.
