Job Summary

Job Title: QA lead
Job Location: Dallas TX
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Lead the QA efforts across multiple platforms and applications (both in-house and third-party).
Define and implement test strategies test plans and test cases aligned with project requirements.
Manage the complete test lifecycle including planning execution defect management automation and reporting.
Lead and contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
Coordinate with developers product owners and business teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Identify risks issues and quality gaps and work proactively to mitigate them.
Guide and mentor QA team members and ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices.
Monitor and report testing progress defects and quality metrics to stakeholders and client teams.
Support regression testing functional testing integration testing and UAT activities.
Ensure compliance with banking domain standards regulatory requirements and internal quality processes.
Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and product quality.
Continuously improve QA processes test coverage and automation effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
7 years of experience in QA and testing with 2 years in a QA Lead or senior QA role.
Hands-on experience working on banking or financial services projects.
Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium TestNG JUnit Cucumber etc.
Solid understanding of testing types including functional regression integration performance and UAT.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Strong analytical communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Experience managing small to mid-sized QA teams and coordinating with offshore teams
