Position: DevOps Platform Engineer ( EKS and AWS are a must )
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Senior Platform Engineer (Kubernetes/EKS) to design implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support the growth of their fast-casual dining brand. The role emphasizes DevOps automation and infrastructure management to support restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2 VPC S3 RDS).
EKS & Containerization: Manage Kubernetes clusters via Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
DevOps & Automation: Build CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices including Identity and Access Management (IAM) encryption and vulnerability management.
Performance Optimization: Optimize cloud usage and manage costs.
Collaboration: Work with development teams to ensure platform stability and reliability.
Experience: 5 years in cloud computing with a strong focus on AWS.
Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of AWS services (EC2 VPC S3 RDS IAM).
IaC Tools: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools specifically Terraform or CloudFormation.
Scripting: Proficiency in Python Bash or PowerShell.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate within a team and manage stakeholder expectations
