Summary:
-
Review and analyze non-conforming parts assemblies and installations identified during manufacturing.
-
Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities for Commercial Airplanes programs.
-
Develop and approve engineering dispositions including repair rework use-as-is or scrap.
-
Investigate manufacturing discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to support corrective actions.
-
Coordinate with manufacturing quality and design engineering teams to resolve technical issues on the production floor.
-
Review engineering drawings specifications and technical documentation to ensure compliance with design requirements.
-
Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams regarding structural systems and production engineering concerns.
-
Support implementation of engineering changes and configuration control processes.
-
Ensure compliance with company standards regulatory requirements and safety guidelines.
-
Document engineering decisions and maintain accurate records of MRB dispositions and corrective actions.
Requirements:
-
Bachelors or Masters of Science degree from an ABET or ABET-equivalent accredited course of study in Engineering.
-
14 or more years of experience in structures systems design or production engineering (Mid-Level).
-
Current or prior experience with BCA MRB (Material Review Board for Commercial Airplanes) within the last 2 years.
-
This position supports multiple shifts and may require off-shift weekend and travel assignments.

Candidates may be periodically assigned to first second or third shift as well as weekend or daily overtime.

Shift assignments vary by site and are typically covered on a rotational basis.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
