Join our Team:
Fast Break our Article 31 clinic-based one-on-one psychotherapy program is focused on providing equity and social justice in mental health. We are looking to hire talented therapists to join our growing team located in the Bronx. This is an excellent opportunity for creative and motivated therapists who are passionate about working with children to gain experience and develop deeper clinical skills.
Our main modalities are CBT TF-CBT DBT CPP IPT Play therapy and Family therapy. Training in evidence-based practices is offered. Most therapists have a caseload of about 18-20 clients. The job also includes consultation at early education and medical settings. Therapists receive weekly individual supervision and weekly group supervision all of which counts towards LCSW clinical hours. We will offer classes to help social workers and mental health counselors prepare for the NYS licensing exams.
Qualifications:
- LMSW LCSW LCAT LMHC or MSW with limited permit
- Experience working with children and at-risk communities
- Experience providing one-on-one therapy
- Responsive and effective communicator
- Fluency in Spanish preferred not required
